I am legit impressed with her sobriety and her attitude. I hope she knows her platform on the show is encouraging for others. I have less of an urge to drink after seeing her success. Cool comment she made about treating addiction by “creating a life that makes it easier not to”. I wish her all the best in her recovery ❤️‍🩹

I know it’s edited to shape the narrative but she really ended up being cool I agree

I echo this. I’m newly sober and was also kinda inspired. And I hear her healing through how she speaks. She was willing to open her heart to some other levels of both her son and Mary and prob even herself during her trip. And despite deep (and valid) concerns she approached them lovingly. That’s good, restorative parenting. Young love can be messy but overall I just hope the kiddo has a great life and Mom and brandan can keep working towards healing as well.

I actually thought about this the last episode. She is a really great example of life after addiction. She clearly had struggles and missed a lot with her kids… and she’s trying to make up for it. You can tell she loves her kids and even how she was with Mary was admirable. She seems like a really solid person and I don’t know her but I’m proud of her!

She seems great now. It is unfortunate however that she has done lasting damage to Brandon and his life — it is not difficult to see how his troubled upbringing has led him to this toxic relationship with Mary and a tough road ahead in the Philippines.

she admitted and apoligized for coming there with a chip on her shoulder in regard to Mary, when have we ever seen anyone on this franchise do that?

You can tell she underwent therapy and is applying it to the relationships around her. A nice lady. At first I was skeptical but she really opened up to Mary

I understand being mad at her for essentially abandoning Brandon, but addiction is also a disease. Good on her for becoming sober and rebuilding a relationship with her son! She also doesn’t use her addiction as an excuse and she recognizes that it’s her responsibility as a mom to rebuild the relationship with her son

I hated how people came in here saying “Well she was a drug addict she doesn’t deserve to be in his life!”. That’s bullshit.

Tbh from the beginning she seemed pretty stable, although Brandan, in his own way unstable and traumatized, seems constantly anxious over her. I waited to see how things played out because some people had their weariness too, but glad to see people coming around! Even she came around to Mary a bit huh?

    Now these damn bugs…. Gtg.
