You literally transmute matter at will, you do not need to fight Killcannon just turn his robot arm into cheese or something. Your nemesis is a villain that you do not need to consider the whole cannot effect living tissue thing for even a second. That is all.

Yeah literally, just turn their brain into an acorn, she can kill omni man and every vitramite. Sure she made a mistake making a park without consulting the city and experts about the logistics, so easy way to fortify earth, is work with cecil to make a giant barrier or extremely powerful weapons. Or city planners and engineers to build shit in africa or something if she is more into that.

I mean, I think it was made pretty clear that she could have ended killcannon whenever she wanted, but she was using him as a human punching bag for stress relief (which ends up nearly getting two people killed).

I get frustrated cause that’s exactly what firestorm does. He has the power to transmute matter at will or even cause a nuclear explosion, but this guy instead chooses to fight like a worse possible version of human torch.

Change his organs into candy, swap is brain for a shoe, turn his bones into liquid, or if she wanted to be humane make his limbs fall off.

She can’t do this one until she herself is pretty close to death or other special circumstances.

She can’t transmute sentient beings, due to the mental block, which is why these solutions are talking about affecting matter in or around him, rather THAN him

I don’t think she needs to be made omnipotent or anything but can we please see some more creative uses of her powers? The possibilities are endless and she’s over here making teeny tiny pink shields. Better than the comics were about it, but still.

I know right? In S2 E1 she was fighting Mark and instead of making barriers out of whatever material that dagger on that one Viltrumite ladys hair was (that can cut through Viltrimite flesh like butter) she’s instead using her flimsy pink shields that do absolutely nothing worthwhile in a real highs takes fight.

She could make anything out of thin air and instead chooses pink crystals.

Putting back stuff that’s missing isn’t that creative to me. I’m talking more about like creating rare compounds or minerals, utilizing chemical interactions for specific effects, turning rainwater into an anesthetic.

Kirkman admitted that Eve’s powers are beyond his writing capabilities. She is truly limited by his lack of imagination.

Yeah I remember him saying that and I know this sounds crazy but I disagree. Dude is an incredibly talented writer and my favourite quality of his is creativity. It’s what makes Invincible so good. He thought of all these cool weaknesses for Viltrumites but not a single one that Eve can exploit? Kind of a bummer

Their weaknesses are a) Ragnars b) scourge virus c) sensitive inner ears. Unless I’m missing something, none of those are something Eve can exploit.

            Even can manipulate atoms, correct?

Everything is made out of atoms.

What if Eve turns all viltrumites into water or something?

Conversely, the inner ear thing can be exploited by making a lower pressure gas be the gas inside the ear behind the membrane, or just turn some of the air in their ear canal into water and then squeeze until their ears pop.

Eve can’t manipulate living things due to a mental block, I don’t think she is restricted from creating/rearranging organic matter.* Don’t we see her alter/create plant matter?

One weakness you missed, the toxin from that one flower, is just a chemical compound which is her whole thing. As someone with an innate understanding of chemistry, I don’t think her mental block would prevent her from creating matter as sharp as a Ragnar’s claws or as tough as their hide. I don’t see why she couldn’t create a synthetic form of the scourge virus (though I doubt she would ever do that one) or the flower toxin.

EDIT: *By which I mean, organic matter that isn’t currently living.

At the very least she should easily incapacitate any armored threats, possibly non-flying threats (turn ground into quicksand sort of deal) besides some really powerful ones. A beast (like Hail Mary or something like Rognarrs) would pose a lot of problems for her though.

I really hope they acknowledge that maybe Eve unwittingly went into a sort of stale suboptimal fighting style, or at the very least try to justify her style, something like “actually the pink energy field stuff is way less exhausting for her to do than matter transmutation, so she’s defaulting to it for stamina” or some bs like that

She was fully in her ego, but even then she’s just shown to not really use matter manipulation to a significant degree which could be a speed limit of it. Nonetheless she was fucking around bc she couldn’t keep herself in check

Ngl, this is why I don’t like Eve’s powers conceptually. It’s Overpowered in the hands of someone with half a brain.

Which means having a character too stupid to use their powers in creative ways and to potential is both frustrating and just plain immersion breaking.

Eve is either dumb as rocks, or not nearly as powerful as everybody on this sub seems to think she is. My head Cannon is that those pink barriers are much easier to create on the fly than manipulating matter.

I haven’t read the comics though, so maybe this statement looks really dumb once you take those into account.
