I am single and watching 90 day makes relationships look like absolute hell on earth. Locusts up my wedding dress. Even when they are not poor, like Shekinah’s relationship all look hellish. Do these relationships reflect the real world’s? Gino and Jasmine are another hell too.

As someone who also married in a 90df way (intercultural, sponsoring partner to the West), I’d say yes they are reflecting a norm from my experience. My marriage has also been pretty bad with culture clashes, LDR misery and whatnot. Would not recommend.

I mean, that’s kinda the point of the show. Find the most profoundly flawed humans and parade them for entertainment.

I think it’s safe to say reality tv does not, in fact, reflect reality. Those are the norms for toxic relationships.

Pretty common when two people who hardly know each other and have nothing much in common marry in haste

Then you throw in cultural differences and opinionated family, you get 90DF

Kind of…there are good relationships too (Kenny and Armando, David and Sheila) but they don’t get shown as much because they’re too boring.
