I don’t think your friend meant any malice by it! It’s a reality show so it’s inclined to show people in toxic situations for views. But, the first couple of seasons of the original show were wholesome and shined the K-1 in a good light. Don’t be offended!
I think she was a student then, so she would’ve at least had classmates, classes, etc., to do outside of her home. But, she can’t really explore when she can’t read or speak the language well enough to not get lost or make friends.
I can definitely see that. I think Shekinah’s saving grace is production being there.
She should’ve interpreted that as she’s not really important to him. She made it clear if he did it again she’d be done, and he was willing to risk that. I hate that she forgave him, but he’s taking advantage of her naïveté. If she was a bit older or wiser, she would’ve never gotten with him to begin with. He brings nothing but grief.
