I’ve noticed that Viltrumites when fighting takes the hits head on or just evades the attack, but never blocks. Mark is the only one who seems to combine striking, blocking, evading and movement in his fights.

Teach a viltrumite proper boxing or bbj and they become too powerful fr they had to be nerfed for it to work

Better to get your head punched off than to have your blocking arm punched off and then have your head punched off. Look at ponytail lady from the last episode, slow deaths aren’t fun in a Viltrumute fight

They do, but I believe it isn’t common. A person who shoots his gun in sword fights is obviously used to winning before blocking becomes a viable option

Because they can literally hand-knife cut through each other’s bones. Blocking is useless

The fighting in this show and comic as well is not very technical out or realistic (and that’s okay, Superman was the same). There’s no thought put into moves or strategy it’s just punch opponent until they are a puddle of gore. You want actual techniques that are plausible (in comic world) iron fist or Batman or hell even Spiderman has more technical fights

I’m not sure what you’re talking about, Omni-Man blocks all the time. Especially when he’s fighting Scorpion, Sub-Zero or another Omni-Man.

Viltrumites seem to have higher offensive power than durability so just dodging is smarter.

Against non-Viltrumites, pretty much nothing can hurt them anyway, so they’re passively conditioned to not block

And against actual Viltrumites, their speed seems to be much greater than their durability, so they probably rely on dodging more than blocking

When your opponent can just karate chop through the bones in your arm you tend to want to dodge instead of block
