Yes, I know Jenny’s story. I meant Jenny insulted and yelled at Kim first. She threw the first punch at Kim.

The d*** is good.
Exactly. There is no compromise on their end. They tell her If you‘re not happy with something, anything you should just leave. It’s very black and white, zero-sum.
Exactly. TJ and his family pulled a bait and switch on her.
One reality before marriage, and another after. That would be a hard no for me.
Thank you. I value your perspective as a woman who has been there.
I kinda see it as Jenny jealous of Kim, for having the nerve to stand up to TJ and his family. For asserting herself at all. Jenny let herself get kicked around for WAAAAY too long.
In all fairness, Jenny went after Kim first.
Thank you! You do not learn about a person and a family from ‘research’. You learn it from conversation. She was deprived of knowing what others were saying, and he lied to her about his family’s expectations.
TJ should done HIS research. He should have listened to her words, should have known who he was marrying!! HE KNEW she did not intend to spend her day cooking and cleaning. He married her knowing her views and intentions, and knowing he would jam that square peg into a round hole after she was stuck.
I believe one can apply for a green card after 2 years of marriage.
That would probably be better for Asuelu personally. He is likely to find a woman there to put up with him and his abusive codependent family. I don’t think the U.S is a good fit for him. But now that he has children, he really needs to grow up and be here. Those boys need their dad. It’s not just about Asuelu anymore.
I meant this as an observation of Asian cultural norms. PDA in that culture is typically minimal and discreet.

Actually, I do. He’s actually pretty demonstrative for an Asian guy. Sometimes chemistry is not always evident on camera.
She may or may not have job prospects. She is perfectly capable of working most minimum wage jobs. But she is NOT legally allowed to work for pay until she gets a green card, and that can take two years after one is legally married. If she is caught working illegally, she can be deported.
Coke? Why do you think this is about coke? I never got a wiff of that.
I have to say, my husband doing coke would be a non-starter. I can deal with nights out drinking with the boys, even an occasional strip club. But coke? No way.
Thank you for that insight. Makes perfect sense.
Shower before bed? I’ve always showered in the morning. So do my husband and kids. Only shower again at night if we exercise after work.
We have no idea of his true intentions. Memphis was different than Tunisian women and I’m sure her freedom was very attractive. As for moving- he had no more family with Memphis. If I was in a foreign country, my spouse left me, and my child was there I would certainly gravitate to an ex-pat community. The first thing I would look for is a community.
She should be deported, but her son is innocent in all of this. I hope he is does not have to pay for her scheming.
I think you’re right. He wants to be a titty baby and have his wife too.
