bojack died in the pool and the entire last episode is his view from halfway down, what he imagined he could’ve had if he didn’t go swimming

sugarman’s summer home is in harper’s landing and while bojack is tripping about his life with charlotte his “daughter’s” name is also harper(: i never thought much of it but sometimes i wonder if he subconsciously imagined her with that name because he associated good memories with the summer house (iirc he said last time he was there was when he was a kid) most likely a paper coffee cup moment but i always liked to think about it that way
