Absolutely.

He says it himself, in the end. He wasn’t even that mad that Bojack had let him get fired. It’s show business, he understands. He’s mostly mad that Bojack never reached out afterwards. If Bojack had reached out, he would have forgave him easily.

One, Bojack is heavier. Two, Sarah Lynn was sober for nine months before suddenly taking a bunch of drugs. Her tolerance definitely dropped

Well, she has done bad stuff, like everyone else. Everyone in the show has done at least one bad thing. But I think people don’t see her as a bad person because she’s way better than Bojack, and she’s often portrayed as a victim, a victim of Mr. Peanutbutter’s negligence, a victim of her past, a victim of her own depression, a victim of Bojack, of PC’s pressure, of discrimination in general- at least, that’s how I see it. Maybe people will disagree.

No but the thing is, there’s no really personal growth. He’s still kind of a dick to PC later on, he’s still pretty much the same. But at the same time we see his side of the story, so we have the fact that he’s an asshole but also the fact that he has a wife and kids whom he loves and needs to care for, so we hate him but we also can’t completely genuinely wish harm upon him, which is kind of frustrating but also very interesting

I hate that he was condescending to PC and willing to cheat on his wife but unwilling to divorce her. And I also hate that later on, despite the show having made us hate him, we are still able, if we try, to understand his side of the story and relate, in a way, to him
