I’ve been thinking about this for a while now. What would happen if a Viltrumite donated blood to someone? Would that person then develop Viltrumite powers? Or would they die due to the blood not being human or not matching the blood type? Since Viltrumite blood is so pure and compatible, the human would slowly but surely become a Vilturmite.

I mean, the first problem would be finding a needle that can somehow pierce their skin…

But, given that Human/Viltrumite hybrids are possible, I would assume their blood is at least theoretically safe. That said, blood type compatibility could still be an issue.

I don’t think their blood would turn someone into a Viltrumite though.

Couldn’t you just beat up a Viltrumite somehow and collect the blood that was dropped. Like it won’t be infected if it’s in a clean and safe environment. You would need to capture one for this however.

That’s not how blood transfusions work. Getting blood from another organism doesn’t change your DNA.

Isn’t it Viltrumite DNA that’s super dominant or whatever? Donated blood is separated into RBCs, plasma, platelets etc and then these parts are transfused separately. So in the first place for most transfusions it would just be RBCs which are just plain cells, no DNA.

The human body can’t even accept an incompatible blood type from another human. Viltrumite blood would probably have an even worse effect.
