  • Omni-Man turning good just happened in the most recent episode, so its not a spoiler anymore. Cecil “betraying” Mark is an exaggeration, they just had a falling out that makes their relationship strained and a bit hostile, which is probably going to happen in the later half of Season 2. Both of these don’t even crack the Top 15-20 biggest twists in the show.

On a side note, I don’t even understand this logic. You like the show, but you’re not going to watch it just because you know what happens? By that logic, no comics fan should want to watch the show. That’s twice as egregious for a story like Invincible, where a second read or watching is only enhanced by knowing the twists to come and picking up on the incredibly subtle foreshadowing.

For example, take literally every conversation Nolan has with Mark about how being a superhero is hard. Nolan never explicitly mentions superheroism, only talking to Mark about “doing what he does”. The whole time, he’s telling Mark how to be prepared to serve Viltrum.

  • No, getting Omni-Man in Episode 4 was essential. If he was a cliffhanger, then Part 1 of Season 2 would primarily be a lot of setups and unanswered questions, without any payoffs. Angstrom Levy, Darkwing II, the Viltrumite weakness to sound, Allen getting beaten. It wouldn’t have been nearly as satisfying as the next episode’s about to be.
