“Are you allowed to work with your visa?” = “They hate me because I am not American”
“I found lipgloss in Gino’s car” = “He must be cheating as only a woman who is sleeping with Gino has lipgloss”
I believe the family member said something like “how are you going to be productive and contribute to society” which idk kind of sounds like a judgmental boomer (not necessarily xenophobic but probably just coming from the perspective of Jasmine being a sugar baby… not sure which is worse)
Agreed, that comment was aggressive and obviously had the undertone of ‘we think you are using Gino for money’. The rest of the time I agree she is jumping to crazy conclusions.
