Mark gives me “grown up Gohan” vibes in these panels. Come to think of it, Gohan (“The Great Sayaiman!”) and Mark (“Invincible”) do have pretty similar arcs.

possibly a hot take but I never really liked this moment, this was by the point in the comic where it felt like Kirkman was just doing things for shock value at times, it was still good but definitely starting to border on shock and edge.
Yeah I’m not a fan of this moment either. Always struck me as odd. The issues leading up to it just feel rushed in general, I really would’ve liked to have seen a slower, more restrained build up to the final arc.

Invincible gets this suit at issue 51. Ending this season with issue 50 por 51 is great to me.
Yeah this was sick, this also reminds me of one of my 2 biggest critiques of Invincible which is why is Eve straight fodder when her powers should be busted and even the explanation of her failsafe is dumb lmao. Kirkman sucks at 2 things and those are pacing and writing chicks TV Amber is huge over compensate for how much Rob sucks at writing chicks.
