I dont actually know the spoiler but it sounds to me that viltrumites biggest issue is actually finding planets to invade. They are letting the coalitions rescources gather together not only starmaps to fresh conquests BUT LITERALLY ALL OF THE RACES LEADERS ON ONE PLANET when its time to cut the tall trees and entire sector of the galaxy is going to lose its government at the same time as viltrumites decend on each world at the same time.

Unironically the credits rolling in the middle is the reason why. They were able to comfortably move between scene, tone, and importance. In like 30 seconds.
