        It’s so weird to me, but I’ve met a lot of traditional type of guys who just outlaw animals in the bedroom/ house. They feel like there should be an actual divide between species. And there’s absolutely no way around it. My dad was like this a lot, but there’s no way I’d make my dog sleep outside. She’s family too.

        I’m getting a Luis vibe from him in that I think he has friends/relatives/girlfriend in the wings and he just needed to get over here in preparation to leave Ashley for greener pastures. I don’t see any love in his eyes or actions.

    We didn’t know a lot about his backstory other than he’s a construction worker and told his mom he went to a job. I wondered if he lives with his mom and just packed “as normal” so she wouldn’t question why he was packing more than usual. It’s likely he also doesn’t have a lot of material things other than clothes and toiletries (like a lot of guys will be) and figured he can get that stuff after he came to the states.

      Secrets out thanks to her family & friends all over Rochester. Its staged. He and Ashley came to a financial agreement. He leaves family behind, they get paid on the show, split it and after she becomes a realty tv star he can bring his family over in a couple of years.

      I think maybe in the first episode, he had been working out of town or traveling to jobs, so he probably is used to packing lightly.

    In the preview when she said, ”Do the teenagers (his kids) know I’m about to become a step mother? ”.

    That statement seemed off, like it’s all about her. She should have said “I’m about to be their stepmother. Not sure why it bugs me but I felt it was distant,removed and strange.

    There was a piece on the 90DF phenomenon in the New York Times awhile ago. IIRC, the infamous scene with Tania and the rose petals was filmed a few times in order to get the best take. It’s more than possible it happened here. I think if you go back and watch there are more than a few people walking out of the airport with no luggage or luggage that doesn’t look like they’re actually moving.

    Same with Shekinah’s sister, only her purse/bag. Not walking from the airport to meet Sarper, not into the apartment complex and not after she got the hell out of dodge so she could avoid the hand-cooked meat.

    I was highly distracted thus episode with luggage and meat.

        I can’t even stand listening to her speak, I am naturally infuriated by her, but she absolutely 100% deserves better than a man who comes into her home for the first time and tells her he hates her cat and that her dog can’t be in bed with them. Fuck that.
