This is better than alternative. This way we can feel the pressure of the upcoming events. I rather this than extra boring shows Amazon Prime already produces. The pacing is part of the reason I think this is one of the best modern shows to exist.

Ok I’m just gonna say it 90% anime does not go by fast at all. I’ve watched a lot of anime and it’s one of the most thinned out mediums there is.

Some of the best anime I’ve seen doesn’t even have comic/manga source material.

I’m gonna get downvoted for this, but I think with Atom and Amber this makes sense. Both characters in comic have personalities where this works but just not enough development.

Debbie and Telia deviate a bit too much where it kind of ruins the character. Debbie worked better as a broken mom rather than “strong woman” mom. I also feel like Debbie gets way too much screen time. They also couldn’t get Olga to hate Debbie but they got a male character (from the support group) to hate her for almost the same reason. I’m pretty sure the writing room doesn’t want woman on woman conflict.

Telia being overtly sexy was funny because Allen and Telia act as an alien couple Chad/Stacy style. She could still have had a job but the small persona changes makes her feel another show Amber-like persona.

No one should even try answering and let this viewer find out naturally. It’s more exciting that way

You’re supposed to hate him. Honestly they make him too “on the nose” to hate him. He has a bit more depth here than in comics which is good. In comics he gets almost no depth until near the end.

Robot + Samson are better dual leaders than Immortal who really is a terrible leader. Didn’t have contingency for Omniman and bangs a teammate which could cause issues within team.

I always hated this relationship in the comic. I had hoped they did some hinting/developing before it led to this. I pretty much never like these 2 in the comics and this show has them the same……except worse because the work place harassment line is cringe af and clearly written by the extra writers in the room who don’t see that Duplikate and Immortal are actually breaking workplace harassment rules as they’re being caught having sex.

I think it happens about this time in the comic

She has a plot and they’ve hinted at it in the show but it won’t come until later and it’s not as vital as Rexplode, Eve, and Robot.

One gripe I have is being a clone doesn’t inherently make you inferior especially if one dudes face is totally scarred. I hope they talk about that a bit
