Yeah, it was inevitable. Season 1 was almost a proof of concept that showed our beloved comic could be brought to life via animation. Now, we’re 12 episodes in and I think just seeing Invincible animated isn’t necessarily enough. We want to see it animated and our favorite stories done justice. I really haven’t had many criticisms so far, but I think there was bound to be a bit more divisive conversation this time around.

Definitely the show and I say that as someone who loved the comic.

It hasn’t been “officially” confirmed; it’s just this leak. I’m optimistic for sure but there is a chance it’s just listed that way for some reason. Really hoping we get an announcement/teaser tonight after the episode.

Couldn’t disagree more. I’d say S2 is already better than S1 and that episode 3 is the best episode of the series so far.

Possible reason: The episodes are not all actually done and need a bit more time.

More possible reason: Amazon wanted to squeeze a bit more subscription time out of anyone who resubscribed for Invincible.

If this is real then holy shit. It’s like a best case scenario for a midseason break. A little holiday break to ruminate on 1-4 and then we get the other 4 episodes which are definitely going to be spectacular.

I read Red Rising over the course of a week and then read books 2-5 over the course of the next week.

Nah it was like ten issues later. With everything they’ve shuffled around, it’s perfect timing.
