I just started watching 90 Day Season 10 and watched the episode (I think ep 2) where she complained about the honey bread and how she is going to slowly introduce Gino to veganism. Just wanted to know if she has always been vegan like since entering into the 90 day universe.
I believe she always been vegan and I think Gino didn’t expect there would be honey in the bread so I guess it was a mistake. But I would be so mad if the only option would have been some nuts for breakfast. At least he should have gotten her more options and some fruits. I was actually surprised she took it quite well I know how annoying it is when people forget you don’t eat certain things.
The honey isn’t made out of bees (it’s made by bees tho) and bees are bugs, so by Gino logic this isn’t a food product made from animals. She had to remind him insects are animals, too! Lol. I can relate, I can’t eat gluten and bring my own snacks/food everywhere. They’ll be proud to have bought a frozen loaf of GF bread and be insulted I can’t use their crumby toaster. I appreciate their effort but don’t expect it to meet my needs.
Yes sometimes it’s hard and people mean well. I’m not a vegan myself because I find it too complicated although I eat vegan a lot of times. And glutenfree can be so complicated too. I have a friend who had to follow a gluten free diet for a while.
I think a big part of her emotional disregulation is hunger-related, honestly.
I think she has - she made a joke in her first season about how Gino’s meat was the only kind she liked.
She mentioned on Instagram she was vegan for 8 years
I used to a be a vegan (not anymore…long story). I started having these major mood swings after a few years and it turns out I was majorly Vitamin B deficient. Seeing Jasmine reminds me of a more extreme version of my old self (I’m still neurotic, but much more chill now than I used to be).
Anyway, just a PSA. If you’re vegan, make sure you supplement with B vitamins.
Yup in one of their first episodes Gino is going to make her eggs for breakfast. And she tells him, “I’m vegan” and it’s clear he has ZERO clue what that means.
he thinks it means she eats too many almonds :)
That’s explains why she’s always emotional and crazy.
Yea and I remember in an early season that Gino made her eggs for breakfast and didn’t understand that it’s not vegan
Do vegans wear leather? That is an animal product. Seems hypocritical…
They don’t
No
Vegan leather is an available option in some brands
I have a vague memory of Gino asking someone on the phone if fish was meat.
That explains her mood swings. She needs some straight collagen, iron and protein.
Things like oat milk have lots of chemicals and make blood sugar high from all th unnecessary carbs and additives. Beyond burgers have so many chemicals and additives too.
The ingredients in meat and milk are just meat and milk. It’s best just to eat healthy, balanced and as natural as possible.
Didn’t like she said she was going to get him to turn vegan.
For me the veganism redeems Jasmine a lot, like it also did with Natalie
Yeah except Natalie eats fish so not vegan at all. And egg I think
She eats her exboyfriend’s meat, so I think she kinda picks and chooses.
Vegans being anti-honey/beeswax is very confusing to me.
What is the logic to this?you’re bothering the bees and taking their stuff i guess lol bees are still animals
They consider it an animal product
as a non-vegan, I can kinda understand the sentiment behind not eating honey or using beeswax. harvesting the two can cause a lot of suffering to bee colonies, especially in a commercial setting.
What about Anna and Mursel’s honey?
Some vegans won’t use any animal products ever, but some will make an exception on certain, non-lethal animal products if they know it comes from a humane source, like small batch beekeepers like Anna and Mursel!
Animal product in the same way milk and eggs are.
I don’t think that’s entirely correct - beekeepers need to open the hive anyway to check to make sure that it’s not being affected by parasites and to count the bees for conservation purposes. If bees have too much honey/resources, the hive will split and both new colonies will have a much lower chance of survival, so removing 2/3 of the honey regularly is considered good for the hive.
I had someone explain to me, not eating or using the byproducts of anything that has a mommy.
Always charming being down voted for asking for information, to better understand.

Because you’re stealing from the bees…vegans try to minimize the exploitation of any living creature.
Nothing taken from the produced by an animal or exploitation of an animal is to be eaten or used. It’s extremely difficult. Even large amounts of wines are fined using dairy, egg, or gelatin. You have to be careful with certain sugars and makeup and vitamins. The probiotics I take use a small amount of dairy; I believe as a chemical bond like wine fining but I haven’t looked too much into it.
Yes, she has. And, honestly? I think a huge part of her emotional disregulation is that she’s chronically hungry
I fast regularly and I’m not a raging bipolar paranoid bitch.
Gut health is the main factor of mental health.
nah. That’s mental illness. I say this a mentally ill person. Lol.
Lol so for all the other people with emotional disregulation, it’s gotta be mental illness or personality. But when it’s a vegan it’s definitelyyyyy because “they’re chronically hungry” 😂🙄
