I’m wondering if Rob is attempting to act here…The man threw a dramatic fit at the airport from the elevator issue. Now he’s running off in the arcade like a toddler mad because he’s out of quarters comparing himself to Jay-Z when he literally doesn’t have a pot in his kitchen-less place to piss in unless it’s outside. He’s been mad at her more than happy since she arrived and we haven’t met the lady in the closet yet.

When he was talking about needing to have kids I deadass thought “you want kids when you can’t even afford an apartment with a bathroom?” He’d probably expect Sophie to work full time to support them while also doing all the childcare
I’m surprised he hasn’t brought up money (her family’s money) more… yet. Not judging him for it yet and obviously finances are important, which is why I think the arc is headed there eventually. Hell maybe having kids is how he sees the money actually flowing to him eventually. This isn’t rare situation where the immigrant is the financial upgrade
He didn’t even act like he wanted kids at first. He was indifferent and non committal about it. “I dunno. Maybe. One day…”. Then he lost his shit when she said she didn’t want to be pregnant. She unknowingly stripped control away from a narcissist and he was super pissed about it.
To be fair Jay-Z and Beyoncé are both extremely wealthy (multi millionaires or even billionaires probably) so it makes sense that they have access to indoor plumbing. There’s no way a regular guy like Rob could afford that kind of thing though.
