Jovi likes the strip club because it’s a safe haven to do coke! Jovi is the guy who never wants the party to end and I’d bet money his m.o. in the club is to book a VIP room and do coke all night 😂 I think he’s being honest when he says it’s not about the strippers, but he’s not saying the REAL reason he likes the club. And that’s why Yara is (rightly so) confused af about why he won’t stop going.

I don’t understand people who get married and have kids knowing they don’t want that life.
In all fairness, Myla was not a planned pregnancy. And Jovi candidly admitted that he would have never proposed to Yara had she not gotten pregnant the first time (when she later miscarried before their 90 days began).
I get the sense that Jovi fell into both this marriage and pregnancy. I think the entire second kid discussion is less about Jovi wanting more kids/a traditional family life, and more about keeping Yara trapped at home, while he does whatever the fuck he wants while on his work trips.
Honestly, I think there are men who like having a wife and a family but don’t really want to be involved with being an active husband be father. He likes the safety of having someone to come home to.
This became more apparent to me in their relationship when he is actively trying to force Yara to have another child and she’s said on more than one occasion that she doesn’t want a second child and he doesn’t want to compromise to be home more to be with his family.
My husband works with a ton of these guys. They love to be traveling because they hate their wives and families. They’re always encouraging him to travel constantly. He would rather be with us though.

I don’t know I think it’s all bs for storyline. Dancers from there were even calling them out saying it’s all phony and they use it for fodder to get another season in. I don’t think it’s that serious at all. I would even bet half of the alcohol he was drinking on the last resort was phony too. The show has gone so far down the fabricated stories I just can’t believe most of it anymore

I have never met a remote oil rig worker that didn’t have an addiction issue. His not wanting to work closer to home/be at home more is another big tell. I hope he gets himself into rehab before their little girl starts to really understand what’s going on or he puts himself in an early grave.

For all his faults, he doesn’t strike me as the type to be effed around his kid. I also have a hard time imagining a more sober parent (Yara) being okay with their spouse running 🎱 through their nose.
Jovi’s mom kicked out his dad for a reason. Maybe his father was the same situation. I bet Jovi’s dad is a womanizer and loves his alcohol.
My dad was an alcoholic. He died from pancreatic cancer. Jovi’s body will break down young. He will have his liver entirely enlarged by the time he is 45y.
Whether it’s the strippers or coke, the man need to grow up and start thinking about his family. There is a time and place for that behavior and he aged out of it.
I don’t think there is anything wrong with a man who has a family wanting to go party one night every 6 months. You can get a sitter, book taxis, go have fun, whatever.
But it seems like he wants to party at every opportunity, and that’s what’s not cool. You can’t spend every Saturday night that you’re on land doing blo and grabbing titties when you have a family to take care of.
I agree, every know and then when you know your kid is safe… but he really just wants to have his cake and eat it too.

Your theory falls apart when you consider the fact that he tried to bring Yara to the strip club. And also the idea of Jovi being a cokehead has zero basis in reality.

She seems to enjoy her non-stop world traveling with him. The luxury of staying home with the baby. Hanging out with her now busted friends. Having an online clothing business.
If life is really that bad, you leave. She seems to live well off his money.
If she didn’t like living in New Orleans, she should have moved closer to his family–there she would have gotten tons of love and support. Instead, she chose to isolate herself in a commuter community, so she could do as she wanted and not be bothered with his family.
Her motivations always seem selfish and self-centered. The real victim is the baby–not growing up with adoring grandparents, cousins and relatives.
