      It doesn’t help that he’s young looking, but I literally thought he was in his early or mid 20’s at first, and had a “oh he’ll figure it out at some point” attitude towards his living situation.

      My jaw hit the floor when I found out he was 32! Totally changed my perspective on the situation.

    He said he was from the mountains in Oregon, so likely Bend or maybe hood river (a small suburb outside Mt Hood) ? I think it’s hilarious though that Sophie keeps saying he grew up in the hood…. She seems to care about him just as much as he cares about her. Only thing I see is Sophie wanting to live in LA having no idea what living in LA can entail.

    There are hundreds of places to bring her, the SM pier and Venice Beach are cool for two seconds but that’s tourist shit. He might as well go to Hollywood Blvd. The way he tries to act like he’s from there is hilarious, definitely fronting with his speech too. He reminds me of an influencer who’s been there for 10 minutes and says, “i own this city!”. Real LA people don’t gaf, this ain’t Texas or NYC, calm down.

        I think it’s a joke about how people from Texas or NYC are stereotyped as often bragging or being extremely pompous about where they are from, whereas people from LA don’t brag about being from LA the way Rob does.

    He just thinks he’s so hot that she should be happy to be with him. He’s a total loser who doesn’t want to work and prefer to blame you for having “expensive” taste to belittle her.

    My ex was like that. I earned way more than him and he lived in a crappy room with roomates in London while i lived in France in a nice brand new flat that i bought by MYSELF. He kept telling me i wasnt good enough , kept giving me the cold look as soon as i told him i bought myself something nice. He was bringing money around for every single topic . I could have said something like i didnt liked Mcdonald and he would just reply " yea of course because you’re to good for fastfood" (while i LOVE a good kebab or burger king).

    He was trying to make me feel like shit all the time.

    Those guys love to make a girl insecure about herself , and they will target the ones that are confidents and successful. They are “proud” to have those girls on their arms because they can brag in public but behind close doors its an other story

      Indoor bathrooms are stuck up and juat an extra room to clean. Shared outhouses are where its at. Not like them fancy apartments in London.
